St. George’s Episcopal Church and the Center for Art & Spirit is hiring a part-time parish administrator to work 13-15 hours per week. We offer paid sick leave, a flexible work schedule, and $14/hour pay.

Responsibilities include: 

  1. being the main point of contact for churchgoers and Center for Art & Spirit participants
  2. acting as liaison between the Church and Center for Art & Spirit event organizers and renters
  3. maintaining databases, including email contacts
  4. insuring accurate accounting practices and working with the Treasurer to safely handle deposits
  5. assisting the Priest in Charge, members of the Vestry, and Treasurer with clerical duties
  6. maintaining  an accurate calendar and schedule for all Center for Art & Spirit events 


  1. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  2. Three or more years of office administrative experience
  3. Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  4. Experience and skill in computer programs including MS Word, Excel, MailChimp, and WordPress, as well as comfort with social media
  5. Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  6. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time independently
  7. Ability to maintain appropriate professional and personal boundaries
